Check the parallelism between the forklift piston and the forklift piston rod. This can be done by placing the forklift piston rod on a V-shaped frame and using a dial indicator to measure any deviation. If the deviation is due to the accuracy of the forklift piston not meeting the required standards, it should be replaced.
Check if the forklift piston is bent. This can be done using a V-shaped frame and a micrometer. If the piston is found to be bent, it should be calibrated and repaired to ensure proper functionality.
If the surface of the cylinder liner in the forklift is significantly damaged or scratched, it can be repaired through a process called honing. Honing involves removing a small amount of material from the cylinder liner to smooth out imperfections and restore its functionality.
If the inner hole of the forklift waveguide (also known as the guide sleeve) is extensively damaged or scratched, it should be replaced. The waveguide is an important component that guides the movement of the piston rod, so any damage can affect the forklift's performance.
Damaged or broken sealing rings and forklift sealing rings should be replaced. For example, if the O-shaped rubber seal ring on the piston of the forklift has been in use for several years and has lost its effectiveness, it should be replaced to maintain proper sealing.
Before conducting any repairs, ensure that the clearance between the inner surface of the cylinder liner and the forklift piston falls within the range of 0.04-0.13mm. It is important to note that the clearance should not exceed 0.25mm to maintain optimal performance.
The clearance between the forklift piston rod and the guide sleeve should be within the range of 0.04-0.15mm. If the clearance exceeds 0.45mm, it indicates excessive wear, and the guide sleeve should be replaced to ensure smooth and accurate movement of the piston rod.
